Two experienced financial advisers have joined Dye Creek Capital, the firm announced in a recent news release.

Laurence H. Mass and Michael R. Marceda have joined the company as partner and senior vice president, respectively. Collectively, Mass and Marceda bring more than 65 years of experience in the financial industry to Wilmington-based Dye Creek Capital, the release stated.

“As we continue to grow as a company, we are thrilled to bring Larry and Mike on board,” Ben Wright, president of Dye Creek Capital, said in the release. “Both of them will play instrumental roles here as we continue serving the financial needs of families, business owners and foundations in Wilmington and across the country.”

Mass, an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) who has worked in the financial industry for more than 25 years, "will provide guidance to a select client group who seek to build, manage, protect and transition their wealth," according to the release, and will focus on investments, borrowing and liability management, risk management and trust, estate and fiduciary services. In an earlier career, he was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the First Gulf War and Operation Just Cause.

Mass is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in economics and policy studies from the Maxwell School of Citizenship.

Marceda (at right) has spent more than 40 years in the financial industry, the release stated. Areas of expertise for him include fixed income trading, operations, financial advising and managing fluctuating markets. He has experience helping wealthy individuals and large foundations achieve financial goals through customized portfolio solutions.

Marceda is a graduate of Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.

Dye Creek Capital is an independent investment practice affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC. It was founded in 2013 by Wright, a Certified Financial Planner professional. The firm has been nationally recognized for its efforts to employ people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the office as client hospitality associates.

Wright and his wife, Amy, are the founders of Bitty & Beau’s Coffee.
