Logan Thompson Receives 2019 Chamberlain Scholarship

By Christina Haley O'Neal, posted Feb 19, 2019
Welcome Home Angel Executive Director Logan White Thompson has been awarded the 2019 Chamberlain Scholarship by the Cape Fear Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, according to a news release.

The scholarship provides funding for Thompson to attend the International Conference of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Texas, March 31 through April 2, officials said.

The annual conference is a combination of education, networking and inspiration, according to the release.

Thompson has been working in the nonprofit field since she came to Wilmington in 2010, officials said. She obtained a master’s degree in public administration in 2012. Since then, she has worked with various local nonprofits.

“I am thrilled to receive this scholarship and look forward to networking and learning from other fundraising professionals at AFP ICON 2019 in San Antonio. I appreciate the opportunity to deepen my knowledge and share what I will learn with fellow AFP Cape Fear Region members,” Thompson said in the release.
