Kara Gansmann has been named a partner at Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP, firm officials announced in a news release.

Gansmann, based at the firm’s Wilmington office, is an elder law and estate planning attorney, officials said. She was previously a staff attorney on an appellate court in Houston.

Gansmann guides individuals and families in a variety of practices, including estate planning, asset-protection, drafts wills and powers of attorney. Officials said she also represents individuals in court for trust and estate administration matters, will caveats, guardianship/incompetency proceedings and fiduciary litigation.
