ILM Receives Brand Identity Award

By Christina Haley O'Neal, posted Dec 11, 2018
The Wilmington International Airport has received an award from the Airports Council International-North America, according to a new release.

The airport was recognized with the organization's Brand Identity Honorable Mention Award, during the council’s 2018 Excellence in Airport Marketing Communications and Customer Service Awards program in Canada, stated the release.

The contest “recognizes the quality of work, abundance of talent, and creativity within the marketing and communications field of the airport industry,” officials said in the release.

The awards are selected by a panel.

ILM was recognized for its work with the airport’s rebrand, which included a new ILM logo, tagline and marketing campaign, officials said.

"We were very proud to receive the award and to represent our airport and community in a room full of talented airport professionals from across the USA and Canada,” Erin McNally, ILM’s marketing specialist, said in the release.

“Local firm, Morvil Advertising & Design, offered wonderful creative vision and partnership throughout the rebranding process,” she added. “ILM’s rebrand was a true team effort and we appreciate the staff, volunteers, and community partners that helped make it a success.”
