D.R. Horton Wilmington has welcomed Hannah Karns as a new homes specialist, according to a news release. 

Karns graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Arts focused in communication studies. She then went to work as a sales consultant at Wade Journey Homes in Greensboro, officials said in the release.

"She brings a strong new homes sales experience and will be a wonderful addition to the D.R. Horton sales team," officials stated in the release.
 
The company also recognized its D.R. Horton Coastal Carolina - Wilmington Division Sales Top Guns from July. Those employees include, Penny Jones, new homes specialist at Avalon and Avalon Cottages in Bolivia; Kathy Mottolo, new homes specialist at Hawkeswater in Leland and Lori Markham, new homes specialist in Woodlake and Murrayville Crossing.
