Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage has promoted Deborah Wallin to vice president, comptroller.

Wallin has served as the firm’s comptroller since 2000 and reports directly to company President Tim Milam, according to a news release.

As vice president, comptroller, Wallin manages a team of four employees and oversees all aspects of the firm’s accounting-related functions, officials said in the release. Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage is a real estate company in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Onslow counties.

“We have more than 475 agents in 13 offices and have already closed more than 6,000 sales this year, so the financial side of our business can get quite complicated,” Milam said in the release.

“Deborah does an extraordinary job of managing the firm’s finances and somehow makes it look easy. We are honored to recognize her efforts with this promotion and very grateful to have her as a member of the Sea Coast Advantage family," he added.

Wallin is a native of Raleigh and attended Peace College prior to moving to Wilmington in 1973. In her free time, Wallin enjoys travelling, fishing and spending time with husband, children and grandchildren.
