WK Dickson Welcomes New Senior Project Manager

WK Dickson & Co. Inc. has announced the addition of Nick Lauretta as a senior project manager in Wilmington.

In his role, Lauretta will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and development of the land development group in eastern North Carolina, according to a news release from WK Dickson.

Charlotte-based WK Dickson is a multi-disciplined consulting firm specializing in community infrastructure solutions including airport planning and design, environmental and water resources engineering, community planning and site development and geospatial technology.

With over 13 years of service in the land development industry, Lauretta has proven success in project management, officials said in the release.

He brings experience in a variety of projects including residential, institutional and public land development, as well as stormwater modeling and design.
 
"Nick is a key addition to our growing land development team. His technical expertise, coupled with his passion to leverage technology, is going to help take us in an exciting direction. We are looking forward to working with him as we expand our presence in the Wilmington area and beyond," Julie Hellmann, vice president and Wilmington regional manager, said in the release.
 
Lauretta earned a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Northern Arizona University and is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina.

He is the treasurer for both the U.S. Green Building Council North Carolina Cape Fear Branch and the state chapter and a board member of the Lower Cape Fear Stewardship Development Coalition, He recently completed the Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Wilmington program.
