Dan Levine
Dan Levine is the newly elected chapter chair of the Cape Fear Region chapter of SCORE.

Levine has been active in SCORE for three years, according to a press release. He retired in 2014 following nearly 30 years of running a small business in Canada, specializing in the sales and distribution of filtration and separation equipment to heavy industry.

As a small business owner, Levine recognizes the many hats that an owner must wear, whether it's selling and marketing, purchasing and inventory management or accounting and financing, officials said in the release.

In taking over as chair of a SCORE chapter with 35 mentors and more than 40 years of history in southeastern North Carolina, Levine said he looks forward to broadening the chapter's profile in the community through an expanded workshop program and continued collaboration with its small business resource partners.

SCORE is a national volunteer organization dedicated to helping small businesses by providing free and confidential business consulting, education and mentoring. SCORE has a network of volunteer, expert business mentors, with more than 10,000 volunteers in more than 300 chapter.
