Wilmington-based marketing consulting company KC Creative has added a member to its team.

Brandy Jones joined the KC Creative team as project manager, doubling the 2015 startup firm's efforts to provide advertising, social media, strategy and sales plans for its clients, according to a news release.

Katie Campbell, principal and owner of KC Creative, and Jones first partnered at St. James Plantation a decade ago. Campbell served as marketing director at the master-planned community in Brunswick County for 10 years and was responsible for planning and executing a yearly national marketing budget and strategy focused on customer lead generation, site “tours” and property sales.

In late 2008, Jones went on to become the director of communications at Brunswick Forest. She played a vital role in its development for eight-plus successful years, planning and executing a more than $2 million annual national marketing budget with the same objectives -- customer lead generation, site “tours” and property sales, officials said in the release.

“We’ve been industry leaders, side-by-side, for years in Brunswick County, one of the nation’s fastest-growing counties and are thrilled to be reunited and working together again,” Campbell said in the release. “Brandy and I are the perfect balance of creativity, big-picture thinking and mastering the tasks at hand.”

“Synergy comes to mind,” Jones added. “We‘re the definition of teamwork.”
