Swing Joins Southport-Oak Island Chamber As Administrative Assistant

Mitzi Swing has joined the Southport-Oak Island Chamber of Commerce as an administrative assistant.

Mitzi will be based in the Chamber of Commerce office located at 4433 Long Beach Road in Southport, according to a press release from the Chamber. 

Mitzi, a resident of Oak Island, moved from the Winston-Salem area in January. She is a North Carolina native and spent her childhood summers on Wrightsville Beach in nearby Wilmington. 

Mitzi and her husband, Dusty, and their dog, Sally, can often be found hanging out on the beaches of Oak Island.

The Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based nonprofit organization serving and promoting the business community of Bald Head Island, Boiling Spring Lakes, Bolivia, Caswell Beach, Oak Island, St. James, Southport and Sunset Harbor.  

Chamber officials said Mitzi is ready to serve the members and all our visitors.
