Cece Nunn
The Greater Wilmington Business Journal has promoted Cece Nunn to assistant editor.

In her three years of working with the business journal, Nunn has proven to be a strong line editor as well as a reporter, Greater Wilmington Business Journal and WILMA Magazine Editor Vicky Janowski said.

Nunn will be pulling from her background of editing freelancers and working with writers. She will continue to report on topics such as real estate and health care. But in her new role, she will be spending time editing for the biweekly publication.

Nunn, a native of South Carolina, graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1998.

She started working for the StarNews as a reporter a day after graduation, first covering Pender County and then Brunswick County before becoming a copy editor.

She also worked as assistant news editor and community news editor before returning to writing as a freelancer for the StarNews and local magazines.

She joined the Greater Wilmington Business Journal as a real estate reporter in September 2014. She lives in Wilmington with her husband, Scott Nunn, and their two daughters.
