Attorney Ryan Fairchild of Brooks Pierce law firm has joined the board of directions for A Safe Place. The nonprofit helps victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation, according to a news release.
 
A Safe Place is based in Wrightsville Beach and offers training, education and support for local schools and organizations. The nonprofit focuses on prevention, restoration and advocacy for victims of the sex trade, stated the release.
 
Fairchild has experience representing clients on issues of cross-border business and practices civil, commercial and federal business litigation.
