Elise Wilson, wealth strategy associate with the Hargrove Paterson Pleasants Cole Wealth Management Group at UBS Financial Services Inc. in Wilmington, recently obtained her certified financial planner certification.
 
Wilson has worked at UBS Financial Services since 2012 and is the financial planner for the Hargrove Paterson Pleasants Cole Wealth Management Group.
 
The certification means she has met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, completed financial planning coursework and passed the CFP Certification Examination covering the areas of: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits and estate planning, according to a news release.
 
CFP professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards, the release stated.
