State Bar Picks Attorney Jeremy Wilson For Leadership Program

By Staff Reports, posted Mar 21, 2017
Jeremy Wilson
Jeremy Wilson, an attorney at Ward and Smith’s office in Wilmington, was selected to be a part of the N.C. Bar Association’s Leadership Academy class this year.

Sixteen lawyers, including Wilson, from across the state were selected to participate in the leadership program for 2017, according to the state bar. Wilson is the only class member based in southeastern North Carolina.

“The mission of the Leadership Academy is to help young lawyers become more effective leaders in their communities, whether their communities be the legal profession, their firms, legal departments and any other organizations with which they are associated, or their local, state, national or even international communities, or any other environments where lawyers regularly have calls or opportunities for leadership,” according to the N.C. Bar Association’s website.

Wilson, a member of Ward and Smith’s Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Practice Group, practices a range of civil litigation before state and federal courts.
