South State Bank Names New Vice President

Shameena Broach
Shameena Broach has been named vice president for the Wilmington office of South State Bank.
 
Broach joined South State Bank in 2007 and over the course of a decade has worked in accounting and the retail branch serving as a financial services representative, an assistant branch manager, as retail sales leader and as a retail area manager.
 
A native of Wilmington, Broach attended Hoggard High School and is a graduate of Meredith College, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in history. Broach is also a graduate of the 2014 Class of Leadership Wilmington. 
 
Broach is an active member of the community and serves on the board of WARM and Friends of Muni; as treasurer of Bob Boyd Foundation; as vice president of the Wilmington Central Rotary; as a cabinet member for Cape Fear Area United Way; and as a PASS tutor. She is also a member of Good Friends of Wilmington.
 
South State Corporation is the largest bank holding company headquartered in South Carolina.
