Elephant Ears Design has appointed Megan Smith as lead designer for the firm.
 
Smith has been with Elephant Ears since 2006 and began her career after graduating from Cape Fear Community College with a degree in interior design.
 
She has taken on the position as lead designer during a period of growth for the firm. It just launched a sister company, Vavaroom, which is scaled for a national internet platform.
 
Smith will oversee both divisions at Vavaroom and Elephant Ears Design.
 
Elephant Ears and Vavaroom recently renovated and expanded its offices at Crosspoint Plaza at 7110 Wrightsville Ave.
