NHRMC Adds Susan Lynne Evans To Practice

The NHRMC Physician Group - Neurology has announced that Susan Lynne Evans has joined the practice and will focus on the treatment and care of multiple sclerosis patients.

Evans has 19 years of experience in neurology, previously serving as a staff neurologist and partner in practice at Noran Neurological Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as staff neurologist for Executive Court Medical Specialists in Litchfield, South Carolina.

She completed her fellowship training in neuromuscular disease medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her residency in neurology and an internal medicine internship at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia.
 
In addition the NHRMC Physician Group is adding John J. Rommel to the Cape Fear Heart Associates practice.

Rommel is a cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic congestive heart failure through medication, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation.

He earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and his medical degree from the Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School.
 
Also joining the Cape Fear Heart Associates practice is Meena Rao, a cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter and ventricular tachycardia through catheter ablation.

Rao earned her undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of California at Berkeley. She received her master’s degree in public health from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and her medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles.
