Alyce Maurer of Wilkinson ERA Real Estate recently achieved a Graduate Realtors Institute designation from the N.C. Association of Realtors.
 
The GRI Institute provides Realtors with the latest real estate trends and standards so they can stay updated in the evolving real estate market, according to the organization.
 
Graduates go through 60 hours of training for the designation, including four live classes, four online classes and 12 hours of elective credits within five years; must receive a passing grade of 75 percent or higher on each course exam; be a member of the National Association of Realtors; and apply for the designation.
