Baldwin Appointed To State Trade Council

Charles Baldwin IV, a partner in the Wilmington office of Brooks Pierce, was recently appointed to the N.C. Foreign Trade Promotion Council board of directors.
 
The council is an organization dedicated to promoting the growth of international trade with North Carolina companies by providing education, networking opportunities, consulting and advocacy for companies that export, import and support global trade and foreign investment, according to a news release.
 
Baldwin has a diverse practice focused on international law, venture capital and corporate transactional matters. He has been recognized by Business North Carolina Magazine’s Legal Elite as a member of the “Hall of Fame” for his business law practice focusing on cross-border and transportation law, the release stated.
 
“The FTPC [Foreign Trade Promotion Council] has made invaluable strides in supporting international trade with North Carolina,” Baldwin said, “and I look forward to being a part of future growth and opportunity in our state.”
 
Baldwin also regularly advises North Carolina and foreign businesses on international trade, regulatory and transaction structure matters. He is listed in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Lawyers in America” in the field of international trade and finance.
