Professional Builders Supply (PBS), a local supplier of building materials, recently hired Jonathan Nelson as its safety coordinator and installed sales specialist for its Wilmington location, according to a news release.
 
Nelson has extensive construction experience, the release stated. In 2000 he took a job with Bowen Family Homes, a local residential builder. After two years he was promoted to finish manger and then promoted once again after another two years to superintendent.
 
In 2006 Nelson took a job as a project manager for PHX Home Products and managed turnkey siding and framing for several builders. Two years later he went to work for Builders First Source as a project manager looking after Pulte/Del Webb subdivisions, specializing in framing. 
 
After another two years he was promoted to install manger in Wilmington. He remained in that position until he started with PBS in February, the release stated.
