Toconis Earns Downtown Top Producer Award

By Jenny Callison, posted Feb 9, 2016
As the real estate broker who completed the most transactions in downtown Wilmington this past year, Todd Toconis of Town and Country Real Estate was presented with the Wilmington Downtown Top Producer of 2015 Award.

The definition of downtown Wilmington used for this award is the area bounded by the Cape Fear River, Wooster Street, Nixon Street and 16th Street, according to a news release.

During 2015, Toconis had 29 transactions representing an investment value of $2,744,000, the release stated.

The honor was bestowed at Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors' holiday meeting and awards luncheon. This is the second year Wilmington Downtown Inc. (WDI) and WRAR have collaborated on the award.

“The Downtown real estate market has a unique mix of commercial and residential properties,” Tanner Clayton, chair of WDI’s Live Committee, said in the release. “By partnering with WRAR, this award recognizes the skills and efforts of the local real estate professional who excelled in this submarket and helped to further accelerate our Downtown revitalization efforts."
