CFCC Hires Minus As Student Services Vice President

The Cape Fear Community College Board of Trustees has hired Daryl L. Minus to serve as vice president for student services and enrollment management.

Minus assumed his new role at CFCC in November.

A news release stated that Minus is responsible for overseeing "all student services at the college including admissions and recruitment, financial aid, records and registration, counseling and advising services, career planning and placement, disability services, student judicial conduct, student support services, athletics and student activities.”
 
Minus most recently served as executive vice president for learning and student success at Craven Community College in New Bern He has worked for more than 17 years in higher education, including more than six years in executive leadership positions at Craven Community College.  
 
"We are confident that his tremendous leadership experience will benefit our entire student body and our leadership team," Bill Turner, chairman of the trustees board, said in the release.
