Sobel Joins OrthoWilmington

OrthoWilmington has expanded its staff with the hiring of certified nurse practitioner Susan Sobel, the medical practice announced in a recent news release.

OrthoWilmington now has a total of 23 physicians, 19 physician assistants and four nurse practitioners.
 
Sobel is a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s master of science in nursing program and is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner. In her new position, Sobel will be part of the care team of Mark D. Foster, which specializes in spine cases, conditions of the foot and ankle and general orthopedics, the release stated.
 
OrthoWilmington offers patients 47 providers in 13 physician and therapy offices throughout southeastern North Carolina, the release stated, adding that many of its physicians are board-certified orthopedic surgeons and pain management specialists who are fellowship trained in a variety of orthopedic specialties.
