The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research recently named Kelly Leishman, an account manager in Wilmington’s Senn Dunn Insurance office, the 2015 Outstanding CSR of the Year for the state of North Carolina.
 
She “was chosen as a state winner for exemplifying the characteristics and qualifications required to be eligible for the prestigious National Outstanding CSR of the Year Award,” William T. Hold, president of The National Alliance, said in a news release. “She represents the backbone of the insurance community, those customer service representatives distinguished for providing exceptional service on a daily basis.”
 
She is now one of 35 people eligible for the national honor, officials said.
 
“We are proud of Kelly’s statewide recognition as 2015 CSR of the Year for North Carolina. Kelly has demonstrated a passion for her customers and for her continual personal and professional development since she joined Senn Dunn in 2010,” T. Gray McCaskill, CEO of Senn Dunn Insurance, said in the release.
