The Maritime Law Association of the United States of America admitted Seth Buskirk as a proctor in admiralty earlier this year, according to a news release.
 
The title of proctor is a peer-reviewed designation reserved for the most distinguished class of maritime lawyers, the release stated. The designation is based on a review of the subject’s experience and degree of success in maritime cases.
 
Buskirk is an attorney at Clark, Newton & Evans, a Wilmington-based firm that focuses on maritime law.
