Local investment advisor Justin Burgess has been named to the N.C. State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners by Gov. Pat McCrory.
 
Burgess, one of three state residents named to the board recently, is with Copley Investment Management in Wilmington. He previously worked for First Bank as a loan assistant/analyst for more than four years.
 
He fills the public member slot on the board of examiners.
