Hammerheads Trade Defender To Seattle Team

Wilmington Hammerheads F.C. traded defender Ashani Fairclough for the Seattle Sounders F.C. 2 club's forward Qudus Lawal last month, according to a news release.

Fairclough had played in eight games for the Hammerheads this season, scoring two goals.

Lawal scored two goals and had one assist in his 11 appearances for Sounders 2, an affiliate of Major League Soccer’s Seattle Sounders F.C.

Lawal is 19 years old and originally from Nigeria and played with the Chicago Fire Reserves in the Premier Development League previously.
