Plantation Village hired Zane Bennett as its new executive director last month, according to a news release.
 
Bennett oversees all operational aspects of Plantation Village, a retirement community in the Wilmington area that was built in 1988.
 
He comes to Plantation Village with experience as administrator at Newcastle Place, a retirement community near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bennett holds a degree in business administration and marketing from Florida Atlantic University.
 
Since 2012, he has been part of Life Care Services, the Des Moines, Iowa-based company that manages Plantation Village and is the third-largest elder care management company in the country, the release stated.
