Sweeney, a marketing and public relations firm, announced last month that Morgan Lang had been promoted to the position of account executive.
 
Lang will be responsible for managing accounts such as Tecgen FR, a fire resistant clothing company; Cordura, a fabric company; and Enlighted, which uses analytics to advise commercial companies on energy efficiency, according to a news release. She will preside over strategy and creative development, campaign implementation, publicity and media relations, social media and advertising.
 
Lang, a 2014 graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, has been with Sweeney since 2013.
 
Sweeney, established in 1986, is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, and has an office in Wilmington.
