Aquesta Bank recently hired Rick Hunt as the commercial banking market manager for Wilmington, according to a press release.

In the position, Hunt "will help develop and grow the commercial loan market in the Wilmington area," the release stated. Cornelius-based Aquesta already has an existing insurance division in the market.

Hunt has more than 17 years in the industry and most recently worked for Crescent State Bank in Wilmington.

“We are fortunate to have Rick join Aquesta to spearhead our entrance into the Wilmington market. He has a solid banking background, and as a Wilmington resident, he knows the community extremely well," Jim Engel, Aquesta Bank president and CEO, said the release.
