Home Builders Induct New Officers, Board Members

Shawn Horton of Trusst Builder Group is the 2015 president of The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA), according to a recent news release. He and N.C. Home Builders Association regional vice president Hiram Williams swore in the organization’s new officers and directors at a meeting in mid-December.

Other members of the new leadership team, who took office Jan. 1, are: Heath Clark (Bill Clark Homes), first vice president; Jeff Stokley (Stokley Development Corp.), second vice president; John Lancaster (Venture Homes of Coastal Carolina), secretary; and Deans Hackney (Horizon Homes), treasurer, the release stated.

Past president is Craig Johnson (Herrington Classic Homes), and the appointee to the past president’s council is Jeff Hilton (Southern Homebuilders). Executive officer is WCFHBA’s Cameron Moore.

The association’s board of directors for 2015, according to the release, consists of Dave Spetrino, Plantation Building Corp.; Howard Penton, Penton Construction; Steve Swain, Coastal Cypress Building Company; Whit Honeycutt, North State Partners Construction; Jordy Rawl, Stevens Fine Homes; Brian Eckel, Cape Fear Commercial; Tim Milam, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage; Carl Paquet, Piedmont Natural Gas; Emily Longley, Longley Supply; Rick Miller, ProBuild; Jim Cushing, EW Godwin’s Sons; Randy Johnson, Builders First Source; Jason Dillon, StarNews; Jim Moore, James E. Moore Insurance; David Thomas, DP Thomas Construction; Hiram Williams, Action Construction; Brad Whitlow, Yadkin Bank; David Smith, David Smith Builder; JC Hearne, White & Hearne.
