Bike Drive Benefits Hundreds

Employees of the Brunswick Nuclear Plant in Southport raised more than $29,000 in their pre-holiday bike drive, according to a recent news release.

More than 320 children in Brunswick, New Hanover, Pender and Columbus counties were given bicycles and helmets purchased with the funds, the release stated.
