Brunswick Realtors Announces Officers, Board Members And Award Winners

The Brunswick County Association of Realtors (BCAR) installed its 2015 officers at an event in early December, the association reported in a news release.

The new leadership team, according to the release, consists of Bruce Williams of Bruce Williams & Associates, president; Jim Goodman of Margaret Rudd & Associates, president-elect; Ben Styers of Southport Realty, vice president; Larry McNeill of Coastal Shores Resorts Properties, treasurer; and MLS chair, Pam Hayes of Southport Realty. Wilson Sherrill of Fred Thorne Realty is past president.

New members of BCAR’s board of directors are: Barbara Andrews, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Realty; Bonnie Black, ReMax at the Beach; Tori Humphrey, Intracoastal Realty; Denise Kinney, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage; Beth Suggs, Coastal Development and Realty; Debbie Kinlaw, Century 21 Sunset Realty; Sharon Paul, Margaret Rudd & Associates; Clif Cheeck, Resort Brokerage Real Estate and Consulting; and Lynn Gulledge, Atlantic Realty Professionals.

BCAR recognized two of its members with awards at the same event.

Inspections was honored as the Affiliate of the Year, the release stated.
 
“Our Realtor of the Year and Affiliate of the Year awards recognize those who have set a high standard for others to follow,” Steve Candler, CEO of the Brunswick County Association of Realtors, said in the release. “Sharon Paul and Susan Giuffre both lead by example and set an extremely high bar in terms of professionalism and their level of contribution to our association. They are extremely deserving of this recognition.”
