McFall Is School Social Worker Of The Year For Southeast N.C.

Claire McFall, the social worker at Sunset Park Elementary School in Wilmington, has been named the 2014 Southeast Regional School Social Worker of the Year by the N.C. School Social Work Association.

McFall’s “dedicated support of students, families and staff contributes to the successful academic outcomes of New Hanover County Schools students and all students in North Carolina,” according to a news release from the school district.

As a regional winner, McFall will move on to compete for the Gary L. Shaffer N.C. School Social Worker of the Year award, the release stated.
