Front Street Brewery brought home silver in a recent commercial beer competition, winning the award for its house specialty and flagship brew, Dram Tree Scottish Ale, according to a recent news release.

The local brewery won its silver medal in the Scottish and Irish Ale category at the N.C. Brewers’ Cup, part of the N.C. State Fair.

The N.C. Brewers' Cup competition received 288 entries from North Carolina breweries in this year's competition, the release stated. Dram Tree Scottish Ale has won other awards in the past. It is available on tap at Front Street Brewery.
