Shoemake Is New COO Of Byrd HealthCare Group

The Byrd HealthCare Group, which operates as Interim HealthCare of the Eastern Carolinas, has hired Bobby Scott Shoemake as its chief operating officer, according to an announcement from the company’s CEO and president, Donna Byrd.

Shoemake holds an MA in health policy from Duke University and a BS in business management from Mount Olive College. He has been in the field of home health and hospice care for 22 years, the company’s news release stated.

Shoemake joins the organization after serving for the past four years as COO of a large multi-location home health agency in Virginia, according to the release.

The Byrd HealthCare Group/Interim HealthCare of the Eastern Carolinas, which provides home care and health care staffing, maintains offices in Wilmington and 10 other eastern North Carolina locations.
