Sabrina Stephens has been named market president for North State Bank’s Wilmington office.

Larry Barbour, president and CEO of the Raleigh-based bank, which has one office in the Wilmington market, recently made the announcement.

“Sabrina is deeply rooted and well respected in the Wilmington community, which is exactly what I am looking for in a market president,” Barbour said in a news release.
“With over 25 years in banking, Sabrina has developed strong leadership skills and a passion for banking that is unparalleled.”

A native of Richfield, North Carolina, Stephens is an alumna of Appalachian State University and a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania and the N.C. School of Banking at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, according to the release.
