NHRMC Physician Specialists – OB/GYN Specialists has welcomed David Joseph to the practice, according to a news release.

Joseph is a board-certified physician in obstetrics and gynecology. He has been practicing locally since 1996, stated the release. 

Joseph is also founder and director of the Open Doors Foundation, a nonprofit organization benefiting children with autism spectrum disorders, stated the release.

"His interests include robotic and minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopy, evaluation and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, and routine and high-risk obstetrics," officials said in the release.

Joseph earned his bachelor's degree in English literature from Tulane University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
