Michelle Gurrera, an agent at Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, recently earned the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist designation, according to a news release.

The designation is in recognition of her experience, knowledge and expertise in marketing and selling high-end residential properties, officials said in the release.

Only 10 percent of the more than 88,000 sales associates affiliated with the Coldwell Banker brand have been awarded this designation to date, the release stated.

The required certification course is taught by Coldwell Banker and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.

“The objective of the program is to produce exceptional real estate professionals who represent exceptional properties," Craig Hogan, vice president of luxury for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, said in the release.

To receive the certification, participating agents must meet strict production guidelines, which Hogan said are “some of the most rigorous standards in the industry today.”
