Cape Fear Jobs has named Becca Edens its new director of business development, according to a news release.

Edens brings a great new energy and outlook to Cape Fear Jobs, officials said in the release. Previously, she was the talent operations and director of sales at Farmin’ Brands. Edens graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2012.

As the director of business development, Edens’ main focus will be on leading the charge to maintain the organization’s current client base as well as educate new businesses on how it can help. In addition, Edens will run the account executive team “that is poised to be on board late summer, early fall of 2018,” officials said.

“The move to bring Becca in was a no brainer for me. It was important for me to put someone in this position that can make not only an immediate impact in our company, but help us far into the future. Becca has a creative vision and understands fully the mission and message that I created and continue to spread,” Corey Lewis, president of Cape Fear Jobs, said in the release.
