Alcami has expanded its legal team with the addition of Colleen Moran, according to a press release.

In her role as contracts attorney, Moran will support the commercial team and end-to-end business offerings of Alcami. Officials said in the release her contributions will ensure that the concept to market process "is held to the highest standards, bringing potential medications to the market faster."

Originally from Pennsylvania, Moran received her undergraduate degree from Villanova University, where she double majored in political science and communications.

She went on to attend the University of North Carolina School of Law as a Chancellors Scholar. After earning her law degree and being admitted to the N.C. State Bar, Moran entered private practice.

Prior to joining Alcami, Moran practiced law for three years at the local firm of Hodges, Coxe, Potter & Phillips LLP in Wilmington.

“Colleen is an intelligent and motivated young woman and has the attention to detail and business sense that this position requires,” Mallory Haddon, Alcami director, commercial counsel, said in the release. “I am proud and fortunate to have Colleen on board and look forward to working with her as we continue to provide innovative services and solutions to small and mid-sized pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.”

In addition to her role at Alcami, Moran currently serves on the board of directors for the nonprofit Canines for Service in Wilmington.
