Rebecca Knudson Joins Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog Law Firm

Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP has added a new member to its firm.

Rebecca Knudson has joined the firm’s Wilmington office as an Of Counsel Attorney, Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP (CSH Law) announced in a recent news release. Knudson will focus her practice on construction law, civil litigation, business law, professional liability, and community association law.

Knudson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington and Northeastern University School of Law. She brings more than 10 years of experience in civil litigation to CSH Law and has litigated cases in state and federal courts, including the N.C. Court of Appeals.

In 2017, Knudson was selected by North Carolina Super Lawyers as a Super Lawyer in the field of Construction Litigation.

According to CSH Law’s website, Knudson was also recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in 2016 and 2017. She was president of the New Hanover County Bar Association from 2015-2016.

Prior to joining CSH Law, Knudson practiced at a law firm in Wilmington. She primarily focused her practice on construction law, civil litigation and business law.

Knudson has also served as a law clerk to Judge Douglas McCullough, Judge Richard Elmore and Judge Robert Hunter Jr. at the N.C. Court of Appeals.

Knudson currently serves on the Council for the Construction Law Section of the N.C. Bar Association. She is a member of the bar in North Carolina and Massachusetts.
