The Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors (WRAR) recently installed Don Harris of Intracoastal Realty as its 2016 president.

At the same banquet event, WRAR also named this year’s other officers: Neal Johnson, president-elect (at left); Fred Gainey, vice president (at right); and Sherri Pickard, past president. The group’s installation banquet is an annual event for all WRAR members to attend, according to a news release.

“Yes, there will be change in 2016 and with these changes, we will be armed to exceed industry expectations and be the ‘example of professionalism in real estate industry,’” Harris said in the release.

Other major highlights from the evening were the awarding of WRAR’s most prestigious annual awards:

Hank Adams, Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners, won Commercial Member of the Year. Mike Nadeau, Creative Commercial Properties, won the Commercial Lifetime Achievement award.
