He treats “diseases or injuries that require operative management, including breast disease, dialysis care, hernias, appendicitis, and gallbladder inflammation,” the release stated.
Along with Allison Lynn, MD, Tyler performs “breast biopsies and surgeries for patients with suspicious lumps and abnormalities in their breasts. In addition, the team will also provide quality care to patients at a high risk for breast cancer and other breast conditions,” the release stated.
Tyler received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency program in general surgery at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, according to the release.
“A fellow of the American College of Surgeons and certified by the American Board of Surgeons, Dr. Tyler has more than 10 years of surgical experience,” the release stated. “He was also the founder and coordinator of the Breast Diagnostic Clinic at Oconee Medical Center in South Carolina.”
