By Tom Leary, posted Mar 18, 2014
Thomas Construction Group, a Wilmington-based general contracting firm, has promoted David Converse to project manager, according to a news release.

Converse previously served as assistant project manager at the firm.
He will now oversee cost control projections, buyouts, hiring of subcontractors, billings, conflict resolution and facilitating communication flow throughout the firm, the release stated.

Converse has contributed to past firm projects such as the New Hanover Regional Medical Center SECU Family House and the First Bank of Wallace. He is also certified as a LEED Green Associate.

“I look forward to the challenge of being the leader for projects, and I am very grateful for the amount of trust that Thomas Construction Group has in me,” Converse said in the release.
