SportGait launches remote monitoring

Concussion support and recovery software company SportGait has launched a remote patient monitoring platform with the goal of improving patient outcomes, according to a press release.

The new platform includes remote “patient monitoring, seamless communications, and a fully configurable platform for healthcare providers to better support their patients,” the release stated.

"One of the key new features we're excited about is the enhanced communications capability, which will allow multidisciplinary teams to track patient progress while communicating across an array of devices, providing a new level of flexibility and convenience," SportGait president and CEO Chris Newtown said in the release.

One key feature of the platform is that it facilitates communication between medical teams. In addition, doctors will be able to track recovery metrics like sleep and hydration and it incorporates telehealth services.

"By constantly improving our technology, we are ensuring that SportGait remains the leader in concussion decision support and care systems," said Newton.

The company also plans to continue innovating with the possibility of integrating wearables or other hardware, he added.

LINQ launches Business Platform

K-12 software company LINQ has created a Business Platform that helps schools with an array of business operations, according to a press release.

This new platform will help schools with “full operational challenges that schools and districts continue to face post-pandemic, such as limited financial and human capital resources following the end of relief funds, food and staff shortages, and outdated, cumbersome manual systems,” the report stated.
The goal of LINQ’s Business Platform is to reduce burdens on K-12 districts and those who oversee key operations and programs.

"Districts across the nation, state by state, have been plagued by unprecedented challenges impacting day-to-day business operations," said Tim Clifford, executive chairman at LINQ, in the release. "We at LINQ have recognized the need for a foundation and platform that enables actionable real-time insights and operational efficiencies that alleviate those challenges from the nutrition department to the finance department, the state to the district, districts to parents and families, and everywhere in between."

Since its founding, LINQ has provided financial management and nutrition management solutions. With this new platform, the company is streamlining business and operational programs.
