Mayfaire Announces Opening Dates For Dave & Buster's, J.Crew Factory

By Staff Reports, posted Apr 30, 2025
Entertainment venue Dave & Buster's is expected to host its grand opening at Mayfaire Town Center in May.

The Wilmington location of the chain will begin welcoming patrons at its 22,000-square-foot facility at 953 Town Center Drive on May 26, according to a Mayfaire news release Wednesday.

The business mixes food and drinks with arcade games. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Coppell, Texas, Dave & Buster's Entertainment Inc. has 174 Dave & Buster’s branded stores in 43 states, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Mayfaire Town Center officials also announced on Wednesday that J.Crew Factory is set to open its doors on May 15. The clothing retailer is located at 920 Town Center Drive.

The shopping center has attracted new retailers and businesses in recent years as others have closed or relocated. Clothing stores lululemon, Free People and FP Movement opened last year, while apparel seller Aerie opened earlier this year.

Another upcoming example: Kendra Scott, a national jewelry store chain, is expected to open later this year at 6880 Main St.
