Beach Bagels opened recently in Monkey Junction, serving signature New York-style bagels, espresso drinks and all-day breakfast seven days a week.

This is the third location for cafe owner Tony Di Norcia, who said he aims to provide families and students with a fun atmosphere and fresh food options.

“The foundation of our business is built around not only good food, but giving back,” Di Norcia said. “We partner with local organizations for charity and are constantly working to minimize our food waste and be more environmentally-friendly. We also have the privilege of employing locals who love our city as much as we do.”

Di Norcia said the store’s bagels are made fresh every day the traditional way, kettle-boiled and then baked. The store’s menu includes local ingredients, vegan and gluten-free options, and fresh-baked bagel sandwiches prepared with Boar’s Head deli meats and cheeses.

The Monkey Junction location will soon be adding specialty espresso drinks and smoothies to the menu to complement the 18 varieties of bagels they serve daily.

Beach Bagels is located at 7220 Wrightsville Ave., 5906 Oleander Drive and now in Monkey Junction at 5226 S. College Road. All locations are open from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
