Tony Harrington, owner and broker of The Property Shop International Realty in Wilmington, was recently installed as this year’s president of North Carolina Realtors.
NC Realtors is a nonprofit trade association with more than 57,000 members and 43 local associations throughout North Carolina, according to a news release. Founded in 1921, the association is headquartered in Greensboro and has an additional office in Raleigh.
Harrington stated in the release, “Guided by expertise, integrity and a commitment to excellence, NC Realtors continuously navigates the complexities of the real estate market, ensuring each client’s journey is marked by trust, diligence and successful outcomes. It is with this dedication that I am proud to be leading this organization and its members this year.”
Harrington’s key achievements include his role as the 2020 President for Cape Fear Realtors, his service as the NC Realtors regional vice president for Region 2 in 2020 and 2021, his participation in the 2022 National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy, and his role as a National Association of Realtors Board of Directors member, the release stated.
He has also served as a commissioner on the executive committee of the Southeastern Economic Development Commission and the NC Foreign Trade Promotion Council.

Harrington was installed as president of NC Realtors on Jan. 25 during NC Realtors’ winter leadership meetings in Durham.
