Sweyer Property Management has announced Brad Johnson’s promotion to CEO of the property management firm, according to a press release Monday.
Johnson will take on the role after owner Dave Sweyer. Johnson joined the team in 2021 serving as general manager. Now, he will oversee Sweyer’s previous tasks of profit management, strategy planning and corporate resource management.
In addition, he will also take on overall profit management and all corporate functional responsibilities including human resources, finance and marketing.
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve the company in this role,” Johnson said in the release. “We have a strong team of property managers and staff, and we look forward to providing our customers and our community the highest level of property management services as we continue to innovate and grow.”
Sweyer Property Management provides full-service residential property management, including advertising, tenant placement, rent collection, accounting and maintenance.
Sweyer is also the founder of Vantaca, a software company with solutions for association management companies that is currently undergoing a $5 million expansion. He said in the release he is excited for the future of the business.
“We have a strong leader with a great understanding of the business priorities to be successful. Brad has done a great job embracing the business model and implementing innovative solutions to drive revenue,” Sweyer said. “This, coupled with an experienced and competent team, sets us up well for continued success."
